Welcome
Mainly focused on modeling, experimentation and computational fluid in interaction with their environment, this research team is organized into three groups of projects.
The first one, entitled "Urban Hydraulics" is dedicated to the study of flows of fluids, loaded or not, in close interaction with hydraulics in sewage systems.
The second one, named "Instability Two phase Turbulence", is directed towards more fundamental activities of numerical modeling of flows and their instabilities.
The third one is called "Wastewater Treatment and Rheology." It concerns research on, on one hand, the understanding of bio-physical-chemical mechanisms involved in the treatment of wastewater and, on the other hand, the study of the rheological behaviour of complex fluids.
Research Themes
The "MecaFlu" Team is working on following projects:
- Dynamics of free surface flows, sensitivity, inverse problems
- Instabilities, multiphase turbulence
- Reagent transfer, rheology and environmental processes
