The second one, named "Instability Two phase Turbulence", is directed towards more fundamental activities of numerical modeling of flows and their instabilities.

The third one is called "Wastewater Treatment and Rheology." It concerns research on, on one hand, the understanding of bio-physical-chemical mechanisms involved in the treatment of wastewater and, on the other hand, the study of the rheological behaviour of complex fluids.

Our research activities are strongly oriented on numerical simulation, although experimental developments, sometimes unique on an international point of view, are also done.

The relationships and collaborations between the different projects and research teams are based on the use of similar theoretical and numerical approaches, or common means for experimental techniques.
